What is ComplianceCheck?
ComplianceCheck is an assisted-review compliance auditing platform designed for QMS compliance teams. It analyzes project artifacts (Test Strategies, Implementation Plans, Business Cases, Value Statements) from Agile and Waterfall projects, flags deviations from QMS standards and regulatory requirements, and surfaces findings in a dashboard for human validation and signoff.
The system is not fully autonomous — human compliance expertise remains critical for final approval, as market requirements vary. But it dramatically reduces manual review overhead and ensures consistent, comprehensive coverage.
Core Problem
Compliance audits are manual, labor-intensive, and error-prone. Compliance auditors must:
- Manually review dozens of project artifacts
- Cross-check consistency between documents
- Identify deviations from QMS standards and regulatory requirements
- Track signoff chains and approvals from the right people
- Repeat this for every project, every market/region
Result: Slow, expensive, inconsistent, high rework risk.
Vision
ComplianceCheck automates the detection and flagging of compliance issues, leaving human judgment for final approval. This lets compliance teams scale faster, catch more issues, and reduce audit cycles from weeks to days.
Primary Users
- Compliance Auditor: Runs audits, submits artifacts, reviews flagged issues, validates findings
- Compliance Team Manager: Approves audit results, signs off, oversees compliance posture
Key Constraints & Assumptions
- Market-specific compliance: Different markets have different QMS requirements. The system must support rule customization or at least allow human override.
- Artifact sources: Docs come from multiple sources (SharePoint, Confluence, HCL Notes). Initial MVP assumes manual submission; integration comes later.
- Build team TBD: This is an independent project; build approach to be determined.
- Regulatory scope: Focused on QMS compliance; security/financial/PIPEDA audits are out of scope for v1.
